The Family Ultimate Getaway consists of a two night getaway with great accommodation, dinner, bed and breakfast for the whole family, a picnic under the big oak tree, a round of golf for Mom and Dad (booking in advance is essential, subject to availability), a ride around our adventure bush trail as well as a tasting experience and s’mores by the fire pit or a Kids Movie night with popcorn and sweeties to end off the evening.

We are still able to keep within COVID-19 regulations and enforcing social distancing by offering you these activities on site:
- Visit the spa, we have a Ladies Day Off package which includes a light lunch – see more detail below.
- Have a picnic overlooking one of Gauteng’s most beautiful lakes.
- Join us for breakfast in our Meadow Green Terrace overlooking the lake at the back of the property.
- Do a self-guided tour of the Irene Farm where you can explore and take some beautiful pictures.
- Enjoy burgers and gourmet milkshakes at The Barn Restaurant whilst visiting the Irene Farm. The loaded fries are a real treat too.
- A self-guided bird and tree spotting walk around the lake and through our natural Camdeboo forest.
- Try the famous scones served with Irene Farm Cream at The Barn Restaurant whilst visiting the Irene Farm.
- Have dinner together in our Meadow Green Restaurant.
- Play a round of golf at one of our adjacent golf courses.
- Have dinner in the comfort of your room.
- Have a movie night in the comfort of your room with popcorn.
- Go for a jog or walk around the property, we have a 2.5 km jogging trail laid out for your convenience.
- Visit the Rietvlei Nature Reserve for a self-drive or self-walk animal encounter.
- Watch the cows being milked at Irene Farm.
